no way do you have to "know a bunch of girls already"! I am actually from Alabama, but most of my high school went to colleges besides Auburn, so I knew VERY few girls in sororities. My rush experience was awesome! And being on the other side of rush, VERY few sororities will consider you not knowing people or being out of state to be any kind of problem! I am in a GREAT sorority (and every sorority at Auburn has a lot to offer- it just depends on your best fit) and we have lots of girls from both in AND out of state! Diversity is the best!
