You are way too concerned about what other people think, and that can be understandable but you should learn not to let what anyone else thinks hold you back from what you are interested in and what you want to do. If you are interested in looking into Tri Sigma you should really go to one of their information sessions and sign up for an interview! Do it! No one in their right mind is going to judge you off of the letters that you're wearing. If someone would do that...would you want to be their friend? I wouldn't and I hope you wouldn't either! Every sorority has all different types of girls and that's why it's impossible to make judgments like what you're afraid of. I understand that this is all new and scary and you're nervous, but don't let that hold you back from what you really want to do! You don't want to regret not going through recruitment and meeting friends and being a member of a sorority for the rest of your life because you had an irrational fear. Trust me. Besides all of that, Tri Sigma is going to get a lot of support from the Greek community because everyone wants them to do well...if Tri Sigma doesn't do well it will reflect really badly on Auburn and no one wants that. So no, no one in the Greek community is going to be anything but welcoming to the new house.
