There are tiers (tears) at Auburn. You will know it when you go through recruitment. This was obviously written by a bottom tier sorority like Kappa or Theta. There is a distinct difference between these lowest tier groups, and the top sororities, AGD, Phi Mu, Pi Phi, KD, Chi O, . The 'last choice' sororities, especially Kapppa says that they are (working on it), give me a break! The translation is that they will do anything to make themselves feel better about being at the bottom. Theta is newer, so they honestly are working on it. Kappa will always be saying how sweet they are, and great girls, etc. because they do last dtch efforts to bring down other houses and attempt to embellish their status. The other lowest tier houses pretty much just enjoy themselves. I know this because my roommate is a Kappa, and told me this is part of their local and national 'culture for self promotion' and way of thinking. She just wants to have fun with her group but can't stand the desperate attempts and attitude of KKG. She is constantly encourage meetings to focus on bringing their standings, and not enjoying the sisters that she was seeking.
