As someone who has been out of Greek life almost a year, I can honestly promise you tiers do not matter. I know it may seem silly for an alum to be on this page, but I remember being a freshman rushee looking at this page and taking it way too seriously..and it's disappointing to see the same bashing going on now as there was when I rushed. As corny as it sounds, you are in control of your college experience regardless of whatever bid you accept on bid day. I had friends in lower and higher "tiers" and it didn't make any difference to us. Don't get caught up in a "rank."
