We do want the flag flying. The decision to not fly the flag was a misguided one made by 6 individuals in our student government. It does not reflect the views of our school or our Greek community. We all love this country and what it stands for here and we are grateful to all the men and women who have risked their lives or passed away trying to defend our flag. Regarding those 6 individuals, although they made a mistake, they are still our fellow students who were just trying to make the school a better environment. They had good intentions, but they just went about it in a poor way. We stand by them and hope the rest of the country realizes that they are just some people that made a mistake and should not be the enemies of the public.
