Hi I have no interest in the rankings or getting into a "top house." I genuinely want to make friends by going through recruitment and I do not really care for what is written about the Greek system on this website. With that being said, can someone explain to me how sorority recruitment works here? I always thought you go to multiple houses every day, and at the end of every day both parties mutually select/cut one another. But my older sibling at uci told me that you just go to one sorority's event every night. Which one is it? I am worried that I will spend alot of time on one or two sororities I thought I was clicking with. How do we know if a sorority is also interested in us if they are not consistently making cuts during recruitment? If anybody could explain this to me I would really appreciate it!
