The simple fact is that Greek life is dying here at Uci and honestly I can attribute it to the fact that no frats actually throw bangers here!! This is probably due to the fact that housing around Uci/Newport is very expensive and not designed for huge parties like these other state schools. Yes havasu and Vegas is fun but honestly not worth the extra money and I’m broke after just a few formals. No one wants to party in a small ass vdc apartments and all of the frat house parties are the same sweaty hot box and really aren’t worth mobbing too. After turning 21, there really isn’t that much incentive to go out to any of these frat parties anymore. All I have to say to Uci frats is step up your Housing!
