Not every woman is guaranteed a bid. There is no way to do that. There is a percentage of women who are dropped from recruitment each year. Speak with your recruitment advisors if you have questions about the process. It has to do with numbers. I assume most of you posting are pretty new to recruitment. Ask them about how National Recruiter and the selection process works. Because once you know how the number system works for voting you will understand why your chapter may be getting women you do not want. There are national Panhellenic standards that we follow. So look those up if you want to know more. While we say that girls will most likely be guaranteed a bid if they "maximize their options" it's not true. I saw many women walk away from recruitment on day 2 and day 3 in 2014 because they were not asked back to any houses. But I could speak for days about how recruitment works. So here is my advice for chapter members who are recruitment is fall: Do not rely on Panhelenic and Recruitment counselors to get women to sign up for recruitment. Not because they are bad at their jobs, but really because it's impossible for a team of 40 to recruit over 500 women for you all and ensure they are the quality we want. It's just not possible. It is on chapter members to encourage potential new members to sign up for recruitment. Our chapters are each 130 women strong now. In the fall, with seniors gone, we will have almost 900 women in our community who are capable of recruiting
