I am so so sorry that people treat you this way. But at the same time, did you join your chapter to get attention from greek guys, or did you join to get lifelong friends/sisters? Honestly, if greek guys at uci don't want to date you, then screw them anyway. If you're happy otherwise being in your chapter, then maybe you shouldn't worry so much about what shallow guys think of you based on your affiliation anyways! And I don't mean to be preachy or anything, because TRUST me, I know exactly how this feels (same position), but when I was considering deactivating, I thought about the real reason I joined, and now I'm perfectly happy. I am dating a guy from a "lower tier" fraternity too but who even cares!? He is the best guy I have ever met, ESPECIALLY in a fraternity at uci. We are happy together, and individually, and that's all that matters.
