One only needs to read the comments here by members of "top houses" to see that high school is not that distant a memory. Tearing others down to try and build oneself up...rather immature, but likely something some people will never outgrow. It's unfortunate that you landed in the wrong house. Had you joined the house you felt most comfortable with during rush, which I'm assuming you didn't, you might have had the chance to build life-long relationships with good people.
