Delta Delta Delta (or to pretty much everyone Tri-Delt) has some very fun girls. I was on a houseboat with them this past year and it was one of the most painless experiences I've ever had. Very easy to get along with, I don't think I've ever had drama with one of them. They definitely party, but have much more going on besides that. Most sororities have involvement in campus organizations, but they are one of maybe two that actually has elected representatives in ASUCD. While this may not seem like a big deal, keep in mind that they are essentially the voices for greek life on that council, on a campus that has a typically negative outlook on greek life (which is ironic because most of us kick ass, quite frankly). As far as philanthropy, they are prodigious on paper given their great fund raising, but they seem to lack the fun elements that other sororities have incorporated. Alpha Chi Omega seems to be going through a big transition at the moment. I remember them as being a very different sorority when I was a freshman, and I have a somewhat mixed impression of them at the moment. That probably has something to do with the fact that they were a little top-heavy last year, and so lost a large senior class (happens to every organization periodically, just means there could be a period of growing pains while new leadership steps in). That said, they have smart girls in charge and I'm sure will do just fine moving forward. Also they make a damn good plate of nachos.
