hey! I was in the same situation as you last quarter. Informal is kinda weird because you (usually) need to be invited by a current sister to do it. I did informal but chose to not take the bid. Instead I waited until formal. Its a great way to see all the houses and since you'll be rushing as a second year you'll have wayyy more perspective than a lot of the freshman/junior transfers which will allow you to choose the house that really works for you (or decide whether or not greek-life really is your thing at all).
