?? - i totally understand what you're saying. Recruitment in general is a pretty superficial process i think. and you're right, all girls in every chapter are going to be over the top, and it can get confusing when you don't know which chapter to choose (luckily your RC's will be a good resource for helping you find what is best for you)! my advice to you is to go in with an open mind and really focus on the conversations you're having and choose a sorority where the conversation just flows naturally. also keep in mind that you are only talking to 3-4 girls from a sorority of 120+ women each night. Not saying this will necessarily happen, but if you do end up getting a bid to a sorority that isn't your top choice, still be open about it. maybe the girls you talked to during recruitment didn't fit your personality, but i guarantee that you will be able to find girls in your future sorority that you click with and become best friends with since there are so many girls. also remember that you will have over 50 new girls join too. So if you are in aphis room and feel genuine about the connection with them, then i would go for it! recruitment is a personal process and it is all about doing what is best for YOU. who cares if I, or other women, don't like aphi. i know it's hard but try to ignore the negative stereotypes. stereotypes definitely don't apply to all girls in a chapter and if a certain sorority feels like home to you, then that is all that matters. good luck this week!
