I actually went into rush having this mindset that I wanted to join a certain house and I ended up trying to hard to get them to like me and when I left I realized I wasn't really being myself. And I'm glad I didn't end up there now, I'm in the perfect house for me and I was myself and very comfortable there during rush and it worked out for the best. You might get really disappointed if you get your schedule and see your favorite house cut you, but why would you want to be in a sorority that doesn't think you fit in with them in the first place, you know? Just trust the system, it all works out for the best I promise :)
