Gotta let your kid live their own life. It's their college experience not Mom or Dad's. I totally get the legacy thing but it'll happen if it's meant to be. Do what you can behind the scenes will the Chapter Advisor and other respected alumni but you're setting yourself up for disappoint and possibly making your kid feel like they're a loser if they don't get a bid. Honestly, if it was that important I'd get my check book out and make a donation. This is America and money talks. If you can't use your money to get little Blaise into your sorority, then what's the point in having money?
