Let's get this out of the way. 1. There has been and will always be ranks. Some base ranks on looks and social while others base it on gpa, involvement, and awards. The fact is there has been and always will be ranks. To some pnms it matters how a group is ranked and to others it does not. As a pnm, you have to figure out how rankings matter to you. No one can tell you what to do or how to base your decisions. That is your call. 2.To make a blanket statement that a pnm will likely end up in a mid or bottom sorority is pretty sad. I don't know what each sorority judges on and I don't know you as a pnm. Bring your best game face and go through the process. Just know that you do not choose the sorority until that final round. 3. I am in a highly desired house and I will say that in being in this house I see that some people give me more respect. I will also say that other people really don't care that I am a member of this group at all. I am not sure why I was chosen to be in this group over another pnm because many pnms could have been a good fit. The house is large and diverse. I did not have anything more than the next pnm from what I could tell. I met so many great girls during recruitment. Obviously things just aligned for me. 4.PNMS need to remember and need to realize there are some mean girls on here ready to tear down some great houses. All houses are solid. There are so many types of girls in each house and they all bring greatness to their organization.
