xo is one of the biggest sororities in the nation so they have a LOT of legacies coming through. chapters tend to give preference to legacies who are connected to that school’s chapter, so if your mom was a XO at some rando small school it won’t hold as much weight. and even that does not guarantee you a bid!! a lot of panhel sororities are doing away with legacy status so it matters less and less each year. i think xo has been trying to move away from their boring christian white girl image for a few years now lol. they’re not my fav house by any means but i know some sweet and fun chi o’s, it all depends on who you meet. they are known for being a lil insular, if they do hang out with other sorority girls it’s usually like adpi, kd, kappa or phi mu. tbh i do think they cross rush more with kappa & phi mu than they do adpi & kd or other middle houses. you have to admit they have a strong sisterhood, despite being a lil boring or off.
