People love to hate on the University of Florida. But what is there to hate on? We have the best football team in america (proven by the national championship game) and best academic school in florida and considered a 'public ivy' (proven by usnews and world report). It is unfortunate that the haters are reduced to the pathetic "jort insult" which is truly an absurd overgeneralization of the UF student body. Is that honestly the most humiliating piece of gossip you can come up with? How about the fact that the average SAT accepted at UF is 1320 and the average at USF is 1130? The University of Florida is, without question, the premier public university in the southern United States and will remain in that position for a long time.
