If you are rushing, please don't let this site manipulate you. It teaches the wrong mentality. It causes girls to get hurt from jealousy, to put others down, it raises anxiety. Tiers do exist, but they do not run everything. I have both "top" and "bottom" tier friends in sororitys. I have frat friends in "bottom" tiers and have dated guys in "top" tiers, all of these guys were nice and their rank did not identify who they were as a person. You are not lesser for the sorority you end up in. You will have a fun, social time as long as you make an effort. Also, there may be general stereotypes, but every individual is different so you can't go and judge somebody immediately. For example, I myself am nothing like my sororities "stereotype" as southern, and neither are many girls. Just please don't be one of the girls that lets these things run your life, or you will not be truly happy. Go with your heart when choosing a sorority/frat:)
