If you potentially can't afford some sororities but can afford others, I don't think you should rush. PNMs basically have no control over the selection process, so you can't decide "oh, I'm only going to chose to go back to the ones I can afford." We all know it doesn't work that way. You also have no idea whether you'll fit into the cheaper sororities as well as the others. So you'd want to choose the cheaper one just because it's cheaper? Greek life is elitist. We are selective organizations and it costs a significant amount of money to become and stay one of us.
