I surprisingly agree somewhat with "Ok." While I think costs are very important, in reality, Greek life IS elitist and is not run like a charity. The sororities have much more control over selection than PNMs, so it is true, usually there's very little control over picking based on costs. A huge factor of whether you can stay in is based on if you can afford it (either through your own money or scholarships w/in the sorority), if you can't, you really should not rush. That being said, definitely ask about costs, and if you find out you can afford the sorority you want, go for it. So as "no" asked, "should that be a reason to exclude some that want to join greek life?" Whether money should or shouldn't be reason for exclusion, it most definitely is a reason for exclusion.
