Not necessarily. Sometimes houses only have one or two spots open because they fall under total due to graduations, drops, members not coming back from fall etc. A lot of houses in that position won't actively spring rush but will quietly pick up a couple of new members through friends of current sisters etc. That's why it's important to check directly in your situation. Get on their radar in case they might have an opening and will consider letting you join after you dropped them. Also, make sure you can really pay for it before you accept a bid again if it's given. During formal you took a spot away from someone who would have had that sorority as their first choice. It also would completely suck for the sorority if you abandoned them for finances again after they showed you grace and welcomed you back.
