You truly have a better chance if you don't suicide. your #1 choice doesn't know if you suicided them or not and tbh they don't care. Also, if you don't suicide, you have the opportunity to be a quota addition to your #1 choice. If you don't get a bid from any of your houses, you are automatically added to your top choice. Also, I suicided and it didn't work out for me. I was devastated.
