when I went through recruitment, there were two houses I was torn between, let's call them A and B. I had a really, really bad cough through recruitment (turns out it was bronchitis), but when I was in pref for both houses, I couldn't stop coughing. In house A, the girl who preffed totally shrugged me off and we laughed about it, and in house B, it was very quiet and I felt like I had done something wrong. I also ended up crying my eyes out at house A's pref ceremony, and just sitting kind of awkwardly in house B's. go where you feel comfortable even when you're sick, tired, and crying! those are your real sisters!
