Lets face it - with the major increase in women attending college in the 1980s there are so many girls coming through now that are legacies. We just cannot accommodate each legacy; Our has had over 50 legacies that came through last year. We had to drop about 50 percent. Many did not fit in. That is reality. In our house we have to make a courtesy call to the legacy member and that is hard but most understand. Some mothers are selfish in their thinking.
