I'm going to be completely honest about preffing at either ADPI or ZTA. These are the houses that take the top of the top in every area. The prom queens, head cheerleaders, most popular, etc. They are really like an exclusive club. The top 1%. Most girls do not fit this criteria. Do yourself a favor and be honest with yourself. Most of you do not fit that description, and there is nothing wrong if you don't, but why would you set yourself up for that kind of heartbreak? It's like the girls who aspire to be friends with the cool kids but keep getting shut out. Even if you got a bid, if you are not the top of the top, you will spend the next four years trying to be someone you are not, and feel left out. I speak from experience. I am considered beautiful, but very insecure, and always fit in with the B crowd in HS. I had an 'on' week at rush, accepted a bid at one of the houses, but the true me came out and I always feel like nobody cares if I am present or not. It's exhausting. I really wish I had gone to AOPI or PiPhi.
