it can be more of a time commitment than some people realize -chapter meetings, philanthropy events, retreat, etc- but it’s really what you make of it. greek life is not a big deal on campus and no one will care if you don’t rush but if you do it gives you another community/ good connections with a lot of the people who also tend to be heavily involved on campus. it can be fun just make sure you’re very deliberate to join a chapter you actually connect with so you don’t end up miserable
