I couldn't have said this better ^, everything there pretty much hits it on the nail. I'm in a frat now, wont say which one cause of what Ima say next, but I wish I could just leave. You dont need a frat for connections either for all the guys crying about "its not all about partying," anyone with basic social skills and drive can and will meet the right people who can be a valuable asset to you for your school career, and maybe starting your career after school. I joined and stayed because i thought they'd provide connections, but I provided myself with connections by talking and meeting people. Not worth the money here, I dont party and travel off campus, but its a good idea I guess. Don't join a frat unless you really feel like you need a brotherhood, or have problems making friends and or talking to girls.
