Subject:
Advice for New Members and Spring Recruitment

Poster Message:
Look at the IG accounts of the chapters you are interested in. Look at how active the chapter is on campus and if they’re post pictures of the sisters together having fun or not. Then check the sister’s pages and look at what they do for fun, how they carry themselves, what they seem to prioritize. Look at past alumni members (if their accounts are public) and see if they’ve successfully moved on from college life but also whether or not they still hangout with other graduated sisters of that chapter. Take all this into consideration and consider which chapter you will feel comfortable in versus which chapter you might feel like you’d have to put in work to fit into. Socials can be a great initial impression. Talking to the chapter members will be an amazing opportunity to ask questions and learn more but there’s a lot you can learn by looking at what members of the chapter prioritize on their social media before you even meet them. And, it can be good for you to have questions ready to ask. Remember that you are interviewing them and their sisterhood and you are trying to find out which chapter aligns the best with your personal ideals. Which chapter will support you best through thick and thin and provide those bonds and memories that will last a lifetime?
