Are sororities even interested in an older junior? I feel like going through recruitment would be a waste for my age because of all the freshmen who would be involved longer than me. Should I wait until spring and try then or how does any of this even work? I'm really interested in getting involved for philanthropy options and making friends and connections to the area but I'm not really into partying... I'm just worried that I would be wasting my time in fall but I'm not sure what happens in the spring. I basically know nothing about greek life but I like the idea of joining one organization that has many aspects to it versus joining another one on campus that is focused on just one thing all the time. I would really appreciate some advice because at this point I don't know what to do but I'm very interested. My friend was a junior and tried to do zta last fall but they didn't take her so based on that I'm thinking that I would just be wasting my time with anything because I'm a junior which is much older than the other girls who would be trying. Please help.
