There really isn’t top/middle/bottom tier at KSU. This isn’t Alabama, if your already concerned with rankings and stuff then get ready to not be. That being said, the sororities that are typically “most wanted” during recruitment tend to be PM, KD, DphiE, and AOII (in whatever order). ZTA recruited well last year too. But ranks really mean nothing. No one goes around saying “Oh em gee Sigma Beta Theta (made up) is soooo bottom tier” No one really cares about rankings at all. Fraternities aren’t going to be like “Sorry lol we’re not going to hang out with you because you’re Sigma Beta lol...” and sorority girls aren’t going to be like “Lol sorry I can’t be friends with a Sigma Beta.” I can honestly say I have friends in every sorority at KSU & they don’t treat me differently (better or worse than them) depending on how people view my sorority. We are all Panhellenic sisters that should build each other up not tear each other down. Tiers mean nothing. Sisterhood means everything. If you’re more concerned about your image going through recruitment rather than the girls you connect with and are happy with, then you’re going to end up dropping. Stop trying to find out what sororities are going to say and what not, wouldn’t you rather be in a sorority that you actually connect with the sisters rather than one that you’re miserable because you faked and forced a conversation with a girl you tried to impress?
