If you want to Go Greek I think you have a very good chance of joining a chapter here! I’d say the difference compared to some SEC and other schools with strong Greek systems is that at K-State legacies and letters of recommendation are no guarantees of anything. Which is ok. I think it’s better to be accepted somewhere on your own merits than riding on someone else’s membership of years ago. If you go through Recruitment with both an open mind and the intention of finding the chapter you can call home for 4 years based on current COMPATIBILITY you’ll find your spot and hopefully be very happy. 😃 There are always disappointed people every fall season but those rejected by a chapter shouldn’t feel bad for long. Who would want a social life and a home away from home built around people who don’t accept you for who you are? No thank you. Keep your head high and find the group that welcomes and embraces you for YOU and don’t settle for anything less. That’s my advice. I hope you come to K-State and love it! EMAW!
