This is not true at all. If you drop before your sororities initiation, you can go through COB. COB stands for "continuous open bidding" which begins usually in November. COB is when sororities who didn't completely fill their house can continue to give bids to girls who either didn't go through recruitment, or dropped before the initiation date! All you have to do is sign up through the kstate Greek office! However, if you do go through initiation you have to wait one year to rejoin a new sorority. But the most important thing to remember is to at least try the sorority you get a bid from. Don't be the girl who drops and doesn't even show to bid night. That's very hurtful to the girls of the house and they deserve a chance to prove their a good house. All in all, have fun! Recruitment and your freshman year are amazing experiences you only get to live once so enjoy it!!!
