Some people have a very unique image that people stereotype them over that they have to deal with (think piercings, tattoos, maybe little bunny foofoo socks, who knows). If you felt the need to change yourself even over a trivial amount of adversity you'd grow to resent the people that made you feel that way. Your potential brothers will look past the wardrobe.
