Depends on how you look at it. Assuming all you do is party, that means all you ever meet is your brothers/sisters, and whoever is at your party. Considering some groups only party with each other, you already know exactly what your life will consist of, social or otherwise. Campus involvement means you'll meet people in potentially every single Greek organization, a fair amount in sports, student government, faculty, etc. This does a lot in terms of networking and furthering along your career if you take advantage of it. I mean hey...party hard now, or party harder later (in a yacht). I've seen it too many times.
