Well the problem here seems to be that he thought he joined a "fraternity" for the right reasons but was mislead during the pledging process. This happens all the time as a lot of organizations do put on a false image during rush and even during the pledging process to make themselves appear better than they are. Not every fraternity is set up to get you furthur in life. Ill agree with you that you shouldn't whine about not liking your brothers because you should have put in effort to get to know them all before you committed yourself to it. That's this guys own fault. And also the whole its a fraternity not a frat argument is one of the pettiest arguments out there. You don't get more respect for saying things like that, you just sound arrogant. Frat is just a simplified way of saying fraternity.
