The university, starting in the fall semester 2022, will require new chapters or chapters seeking re-establishment on campus to restrict the ability to obtain a chapter house within the first five years. With this rule when a chapter is removed it could take them up to 10 years to get back in their houses. This will cause chapters who own houses and are removed to be long term land lords or sell. With this rule it will be interesting if chapters looking to come back follow acacia and not be affiliated with the university to avoid this rule.
