I find this really offensive because I have found genuine friends in my house, and I know for an absolute fact that I wouldn't have made it through my first year here at Iowa without them. They were such a positive support system for me, and I love them all. Actually, I feel so sorry for you, because you apparently didn't have a similar experience.. That sucks. But don't come on here and knock on a fantastic community that has changed a lot of lives for the better. Any incoming freshman looking on this site for recruitment advice, please do not take this or other negative comments into consideration. Try recruitment for yourself even if you're not sure greek life is for you, because that's what I did and now I have friends that really will last me a lifetime, cheesy or not.
