No one piece of advice fits all as it relates to recruitment. You have to know who you are and what is important to you in terms of people and partying. As junior I can say that I completely underestimated the importance of sisterhood. Probably because I didn't really understand it. Yep, sisterhood is important. How people treat each other in the house is important. Watch during parties to see how sisters interact with each other. Each house has a vibe and you have to make sure that vibe reflects what you want in a house. IMO the folks that say 'trust the process' are really just touting the party line to make sure as many people as possible stay with recruitment until the end. Instead of trusting the process I suggest that you trust yourself instead. If the options you are presented with work for you then continue on. If the options don't work for you then hit the road and try again another time. But before you hit the road keep in mind that for many people the first year is the crucial year where you make friends and become part of a group. Keep an open mind as you meet people as there are great people in all the houses.
