I joined a sorority my junior year through formal recruitment. a lot of houses have VERY strict live in requirements and if you don't want to live in, they won't let you (I got into a house that SAYS that they require you to live in, but they are not strict) but there are a lot of houses that take upperclassmen! Don't worry about it!
