I'm a junior transfer guy and I'm worried about the same thing. I know a guy thats in Sig Chi and he said being a junior definitely will make a difference when being chosen but if you are a quality person that will contribute well you probably won't be turned down. I imagine it's relatively the same for sororities but I also know they put more thought into recruitment so I'm not too sure, hope this is helpful
