So it seems like PNMS don't fully understand tiers. Sororities can still have socials when on a tier and still party the same amount. Pretty much if you want a middle to top (popularity) sorority your house will most likely be on a tier at some point. I would NOT recommend joining a house based on if they're on a tier because it literally switches all the time. I joined my house which is considered a top house and we weren't on a tier. Then a month later we were. Basically in you want to join one of these sororities you will most likely be on a tier at some point: kappa, Pi phi, Gphi, a phi, chio, DDD, Dg. Even if you join a different house you could still easily end up on a tier
