It’s not an issue to rush as a sophomore here at ISU. Most, if not all sororities take some sophomores and even some juniors. I can’t speak for the GPA requirements for all sororities and if concessions are given based on circumstances, but I know mine does a cut based on GPA. My suggestion in your situation would be to possibly consider informal recruitment since you’ll get more time to explain your circumstances. You can absolutely go through primary recruitment but be prepared for getting cut simply based on GPA despite circumstances. Hope that helps and good luck.
