I rushed as a junior. It is much harder (especially if you don't have connections). I took heavy cuts after the first round, which in a way was nice because I didn't have to worry about growing attached to a lot of chapters and then get cut/have to choose. However, if you care about tiers, which at 20/21 you should be more mature than that, then don't rush as a junior unless you have connections. Overall, I'm glad I waited. Had I rushed as a freshman, I would've taken heavy cuts for grades, but I had time to raise my GPA. I don't think my freshman self would've been able to handle the cuts because I would've thought something was wrong with me or whatever. I wasn't as nervous as the freshmen and most sophomores seemed. I felt confident in who I am and thus what I want in a chapter. I absolutely adore all of my sisters!
