Each house must cut X number based on return rates the past 3 years. Since many chapters don't have much time to get to know most girls the first round, you will see the houses cut for grades the first round. It's their easiest way of cutting girls for someone they "can't" take first vs. girls that they don't like. I don't know any chapter that will take lower than the minimum GPA their nationals allows. We won't.
