Most sororities have a set amount due for every semester. A lot have payment plans where you can pay your dues in separate installments throughout the semester. Dues depend on whether you live in house or out of house. Some sororities require you to live in the house and some do not. I believe pi phi and theta may have a one year live in requirement. Expect to pay a couple thousand per semester. There are other costs associated with Sororities such as mandated purchases like recruitment dresses. I can't give you exact figures on theta and pi phi but yes they are more expensive than most chapters. Theta may be the highest now that kappa is gone. During recruitment sororites definitely weigh into the equation how much your parents make and your ability to pay dues. You would be amazed the socioeconomic information they can extract from you with the information they have. I'm not goig to give you specific numbers, but just know that a lot information on this website will be heavily biased to make certain chapters sound better or worse.
