Block pairings are not nearly as important as they used to be. It's now mostly an image thing from my perspective. 1. Most girls block hop and rarely stay at their partners block the entire time. This maximizes the free alcohol aspect and seeing a lot of different friends on game day. 2. Even when chapters are paired together this doesn't guarantee that they will actually show up i.e. Alpha Phi and Delt. 3. A lot of chapters can't officially have block or advertise their partnersi.e. Theta, Tri Delt, Chi O etc.
