Here's a list of reasons I don't like STEP personally: 1. You can only have 6 socials at your house per year. 2. You can have alcohol in rooms, that's it (other than at the 6 socials) 3. There is a live in advisor so these rules will likely have to actually be followed. 4. The university can send people to inspect at any time. 5. With all these non undergrads sniffing around, most pledge events will have to be out of the house 6. No juniors are gonna want to live in, so if you get a small pledge class that won't fill these 30-40+ houses, either juniors are sol or the house will have empty rooms The above person is correct in saying that it's a good opportunity for houses where this isn't an issue because of how they operate currently, but I personally think it will kill Greek life here
