Honestly, nobody can really tell you that, especially since this is the first year doing STEP. I think you just have to go to each house and decide on your own. Ultimately, you join for the brothers, not the house, so make sure that's your first priority. The only real benefit of STEP is being able to live in the house your sophomore year rather than the dorms. Otherwise, I personally find it more fun to party in a big house rather than an annex, but it's up to you.
