(Coming from a "lucky" bottom tier to get paired with a top tier) This really does suck on our end too. There's nothing worse than trying to have fun with a group who wants nothing to do with you, or is just gonna criticize you the whole time. We'll either get turned down for socials, or if we have one our pairs will only be doing it as a polite courtesy. They won't show any interest in us. Yeah it'd be great if the top tiers could "get over it" but why should they have to? I'm just as mad.
